A simple capstone project in the summer 2021 has turned into a full blown program for kids with disabilites in the Saline County area. The idea started as an opportunity to provide atypical kids in the Saline county area with a chance to be more easily included within community programs. Megan Hill, OTD, OTR/L partnered with Benton Parks and Recreation to provide a swim program for kids with disabilities that has now expanded to other sports such as baseball (miracle league), volleyball, basketball, and much more. Going on three years of this program, we are continually growing.
